Human Resource Management (HRM) plays a big role in ensuring the company’s future success. One of the important role of HRM in managing the company is by controlling the workforces which includes in hiring, talent managing, promoting and more. This project focuses on the hiring part of HRM. Past study has shown that HRM always have difficulties in finding the right person for a particular position. Thus, they may hire the wrong person for the job. First step to deal with this problem is to identify the employment criteria of a job in data sciences field by using analytics from user profiling. Second is designing a system that using the candidate’s data and information (as the dataset) to select the most suitable person for the data sciences related job. Finally, develop a web-based system for HRM to interact with and can assist HRM in searching and hiring the best candidate for the organization vacant position in data sciences field (data scientist, data engineer and data analyst). The data is extracted and scraped from online sources. This project also will use decision tree classification technique as the method to solve the stated problem as it is the most suitable method in handling this kind of dataset. As a conclusion, the development of the system gives great impact in assisting HRM in finding new candidates and making the right decision in hiring new employee for the organization. The suitable candidates for the company can ensure its future and optimize the company’s productivity. This project can be improvised by adding a platform for job seekers to align the needs of HRM and job seekers.
